 Mayah's Hospital Stay

We spent out 6th wedding anniversary in the ER.

Mayah had not been feeling well with a sore throat and Saturday she woke up and her lymph node was extremely swollen. Our nurse said to take her to the clinic so we did and they told us to go straight to the pedi ER. She was admitted to the hospital after a CT scan, then the doctor came in about midnight and showed us that she had a peritonsillar abscess almost blocking her airway. She had surgery the next morning and both tonsils were removed along with the abscess.
 

It was a very a rough weekend but we thank God for His peace, for His healing and for His love.

She refused to look at her IV.  We had to keep it covered up.

Nurses taught her how to use the tv remote.


The morning of her surgery, she had to put on a hospital gown.
She was not happy.


In the waiting room...the longest 25 minutes of our lives.

After surgery

everyone was very tired...


she slept for an entire day after the surgery....
 

 

Daddy and Tori went home and got a flat tire. 
She helped fix it.

As soon as we got home, she wanted to put on a dress and have a tea party.
